shinesun day

Text

beauxjours:

in a world without peace
it makes a big crease
in the hearts that were born to love

like us you and i
you heard my cry
and you put my world on a spinning
axis of perfection

but perfection i say?
which way does this world sway?
our way, our world, those,
that are born to love
have it a shinesun day

though it may seem
perfection is a scheme
because perfect it would be
we could hold each other
and have it a shinesun day

but of course
if the world were a perfect force
we would never be without this day

but we have to work
we have to learn
no matter how much
my heart may yearn

for when we are apart

because in this world without peace
it puts a big crease
in the hearts that are born to love.

you don’t k’now where the world may sway,
so i can’t wait for the next shinesun day.
