Mahtob (pronounced Mah-täb) means "moonlight" in the Persian language. The moon is a symbol of the hope and light that emanates from the darkness

A year ago, we stood, dressed in darkness and glued to the pavement. Your shoulders caught my tears, and your eyes were pools of sorrow so deep that I could barely stay afloat. After everything, I can only tell you this: I have never felt more loved than that night where you couldn’t let me go.
